We are working with a friendly and established small animal practice in Watford, Hertfordshire that is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis. Due to the experience in the existing team, they are able to consider applications from all newly graduated Vets upwards.
The Practice:
Situated in a busy retail park, the surgery benefits from excellent nearby train and bus links and free on-site car parking. The practice is purpose-built with 3 consult rooms, dedicated operating theatre, in house lab, digital X-ray, and ultrasound.
You will be joining a supportive team made up of 1 Vet, 1 RVN, 1 SVN, and 2 receptionists. The practice sees a higher than the average number of rabbits and exotics and a reasonable proportion of clients are insured allowing the team to work up cases to a high standard.
The Role and Candidate:
The team is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with confidence in all routine surgical and medical cases and they welcome specialist interests! The practice offers a generous CPD allowance and actively encourages CPD for all colleagues within the team. If you have a particular area of interest, this may be the practice for you!
This is a full-time permanent position with a weekend rota of 1 in 2 and no OOHs. There will be occasional sole charge responsibility for experienced vets and support for new grads until they feel confident with this element of the role.
