Permanent Full or Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon - Southampton

We are working with a small friendly team based in Southampton that is looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their small animal practice in Southampton. This role is flexible and can be either full or part-time.

The Practice: 

Our client has a small and friendly team and their aim is to be the best first opinion practice in Southampton, and with 5 stars on Vet Help Direct and a loyal client base, they are well on the way to achieving this!

This surgery has gone from strength to strength, providing a 5-star service to the Southampton community. You will be joining a wonderful team of two full-time and two part-time experienced Vets.

This bright spacious practice is purpose-built to industry-leading standards and located on the south coast, with easily accessible transport links to London. They have digital radiography including dental, dental equipment, in-house lab, ultrasound, electrosurgery, blood pressure monitor, drip pumps, suction machine, and hospitalisation facilities for exotics. They have a good balance of surgical and medical cases, with a general mix of dogs and cats, around 10% of our cases are rabbits and a small number of exotics e.g. bearded dragons.

The Role:

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly and professional team on a full or part-time basis, 30 - 40 hours per week with 1 in 4 weekends.

Their team prides itself on building great relationships with their clients and treating all pets as they would treat their own, therefore you will need to be friendly and a strong team player with excellent communication skills.

You will enjoy both surgical and medical cases. If you have a particular interest in exotics, that would be a bonus and they would be happy to provide support in this area.
