Permanent Full-Time Veterinary Surgeon - Chelmsford

We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal veterinary surgeon to start at a friendly and professional practice in Chelmsford, Essex.

Their purpose-built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state-of-the-art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment, and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services. The partner is supported by a wonderful team of 19 colleagues. They are hugely supportive of each other and take pride in the strong relationships they have built, and continue to build, with their large and loyal client base. 

The Role and Candidate:

The full-time rota consists of 4 weekdays per week, 9 am – 7 pm, 1 full weekend, and one Saturday every 5 weeks allowing you to enjoy an excellent work/life balance. There are no OOH duties with this role. They are looking for a veterinary surgeon who will be comfortable with some sole charge (weekend) as well as working within a team. You will be confident with all routine medical and surgical procedures and special interests would be welcomed. They do see a higher than average number of small furries so if that is an area of interest, they can certainly provide the caseload!
