We are working with a client who is looking for a permanent, full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join them at their busy hospital practice in Belfast, County Antrim.
The Practice:
Our client is a leading veterinary charity providing low-cost veterinary care, whilst at the same time promoting responsible pet ownership. The practice currently employs 7 Vets, 8 Nurses and 6 VCAs.
The Role:
This is a full-time role working 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 08.00-19.00. There is a weekend rota of 1 in 7 Saturdays and Sundays but no out of hours responsibilities. Typically, duties will be split between surgery days and consultation days and in return, our client is offering a competitive salary up to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus accommodation and a car.
The Candidate:
Ideally, you will have more than 1-year experience as this role would suit a competent surgeon who has previously managed a team. There will be some line management responsibility in this role so you should be a good communicator and work well as part of a team. An interest or specialism in orthopaedics would be of particular interest. You should also be approachable, friendly and compassionate.
