We are working with a group of 3 practices in North London that are looking for a Head of Internal Medicine Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis. Our client is looking for a vet that has an advanced qualification in medicine.
The Practice:
This practice is one of the top providers of veterinary care in North London and has a strong team of 8 vets, most of which are certificate holders in Medicine or Surgery. The practice also has an array of facilities to provide a full service of care and very rarely refer any patients. All branches are modern and fully equipped with up to date surgical and diagnostic equipment. They offer a range of services ranging from free puppy and kitten consultations, vaccinations, spaying and neutering, digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, separate dog and cat facilities and a fully equipped in-house laboratory. They have a large, friendly team of vets and nurses who are all highly trained and regularly kept up to date with ongoing training to ensure all staff has up to date knowledge with the advances of veterinary medicine and surgery.
The Role:
This role is to work as Head of Internal Medicine working 44 hours per week, with no out of hours requirements. As the head medicine, you would need to have lots of CPD or advanced qualification in medicine. The practice works to a very high standard and includes some great facilities including digital x-rays (including dental) and laparoscopy and fantastic microscopes etc. The principal vet is very forward thinking and open to hearing your ideas and if there was anything you wanted to bring to the table this would be welcomed.
The Candidate:
As the Head of Internal Medicine, you will ideally have loads of CPD or a medical certificate (desirable)
In return, our client is offering a salary of circa £70,000 (DOE).
