We are working with a practice based in Coventry, Warwickshire that is looking for a Head Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis.
The Practice:
Based minutes from the M6 and M69, the practice is within easy reach of both Birmingham and Leicester. Due to being situated within a busy residential area, there is an opportunity to see a good variety of interesting medical and surgical cases.
The bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery is purpose built to industry leading standards and has state of the art equipment. You would be joining a collaborative team of Vets supported by Nurses, Receptionists and a Practice Manager.
The Role:
This is a full time permanent role for a Head Veterinary Surgeon with weekends on a 1 in 3 rotation, and no out of hours. There may be occasional sole charge, so you must feel comfortable with this.
The Candidate:
This is a varied role, ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their career. You must be highly motivated, ambitious and work well within a team, have strong surgical skills and be able to lead and mentor a team, and coach and guide colleagues. You will also be confident with routine surgical and medical cases and in addition bring excellent communication skills, building strong relationships with patients and clients.
