We are working a lovely independently owned group of practices in the beautiful Pembrokeshire area of South West Wales that is looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full-time permanent basis. This new position is for a predominantly farm animal vet but will include some mixed work also, and would be suitable for a vet with at least 2 years farm animal experience with a high proportion of dairy work

The Practice:

Our client has four locations that offer veterinary services to pet/small animals, farm animals, and equine, which also includes hydrotherapy and rehabilitation services. They have a friendly and hard-working team that always has the best interests of the animal at the heart of everything they do. They deal with emergencies, preventative healthcare, and everything in-between.

The Role and Candidate:

Our client is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon with at least 2 years of farm animal experience, with a high proportion of dairy work. You must be fully competent to carry out routine visits and be able to scan down to 30 days with confidence, be able to carry out single person DA ops and Caesarians. As they are a mixed practice there is also some 1st opinion equine work and some first opinion small animal work the amount of which can be adjusted to the candidate. 

This is a full-time permanent role, with the full working pattern to be discussed in the interview.
