Location: Cambridge
Practice Type: Well-established busy tier 3 24hr hospital with a varied caseload.
Facilities: All new equipment within the practice including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, endoscopy, in-house lab, anaesthesia monitoring, and assessment equipment, etc.
Team: They are a lovely, hard-working team that strives to provide clients and their pets with the highest standard of care.
Role: The Lead Nurse role is key to the business's ability to provide a high level of clinical standards. The Team Lead will ensure that patients are managed as effectively as possible from a nursing perspective to support the profitability and further growth of the practice. Working enthusiastically with your team you will help maintain a happy, efficient working environment whilst providing outstanding patient and client care.
Hours: Full-time. Full rota to be discussed in the interview
Skills/Exp:
- 4 years in practice, with a minimum of 2 years post RVN registration
- RCVS code of conduct Confident in the use of IT packages, email, and online internet browsers.
- Excellent listening and communication skills. Team player. Highly organised with the ability to multitask, plan and prioritise effectively in accordance with business needs. Proactive and well organised with an eye for detail. Ability to manage projects through to completion, meeting deadlines and targets. Remains calm under pressure. Problem-solving.
- Ability to make decisions that benefit the whole team, not individuals.
