We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established veterinary practice in Maidstone as their Lead Veterinary Surgeon. This is a permanent full-time role that would suit a driven, dynamic, ambitious individual with exceptional communication skills. 

The Practice:

This practice is based within close proximity of Maidstone town centre and the practice offers a range of services to its patients, including ultrasound, x-rays, and microchipping. It is supported by other practices in the Cranbrook region and has access to emergency and critical care.

This practice is a 10-minute walk from Maidstone East station (based in the town centre) and is close to the M20 and M2 motorways. You can also find the Vinters Park Nature Reserve, Mote Park, and River Medway within a commutable distance.

The Role and Candidate:

Are you an experienced Veterinary Surgeon looking to become a Lead Veterinary Surgeon in a busy practice? We have an exciting opportunity for a Lead Veterinary Surgeon at our clients' Maidstone practice.

The successful candidate will be a driven, dynamic, ambitious individual with exceptional communication skills. They are looking for someone with at least 2 years post-graduate in small animal experience who practices to a very high standard using an evidence-based approach. 

This role covers 39 hours a week, spread across 4 working days per week, providing great work-life balance. The shift pattern includes 1:3 Saturdays.

The Package:

In return, our client is offering a very competitive package of up to £55,000 per annum (depending on experience), which includes accommodation allowance and a vehicle or vehicle allowance. Benefits include:
