We are working with a forward-thinking veterinary practice based in Ashford, Surrey, that is looking to recruit an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join their team as their Lead Vet. This full-time permanent position would suit a confident Veterinary Surgeon with GP experience and excellent client, communication, and leadership skills.

The Practice:

This practice is equipped with many diagnostic facilities, such as a blood laboratory, x-ray, ultrasound, and ECG. The dedicated nursing team covers a range of advice and treatments, including de-worming, flea treatment, and weight management. They also have access to a wider range of services provided by the group such as MRI, hydrotherapy, and 24-hour hospital.

The Role and Candidate:

Our client is seeking a Lead Veterinary Surgeon to join their friendly team. The ideal candidate will ideally have at least 3 years' post-graduate veterinary experience.

This role will function in an environment where colleagues support each other, by sharing skills and knowledge, to give their patients the best outcomes. In return, they will provide strong mentorship, a fantastic package and the chance to be involved in cases using state-of-the-art technology. They provide all this whilst you continue to develop your career and get the most job satisfaction. The successful candidate will work 40 hours a week over 4 days. The shift pattern also includes 1:4 Saturdays at their local veterinary hospital.

The Package:

In return for all your commitment, they are offering a very competitive package of up to £65,000 per annum (depending on experience), which includes an accommodation allowance and a vehicle or vehicle allowance. The benefits package includes:
