Permanent Lead Veterinary Surgeon - Sheffield 

Type: Small Animal

Practice Type: A true family practice where it is okay to have fun and enjoy your job in a supportive, caring environment

Team: Their team are highly trained, skillful and passionate individuals who, as a group, devote their lives to patient care

Role: Due to their continued growth, they are looking for an additional Veterinary Surgeon for their independent, family-run, small animal practice in Sheffield.

Duties:

  • Good variation of consults and surgeries per day
  • Varied caseload including charity work, Police dogs, and a range of small animals
  • Laparoscopy equipment
  • 15-minute consultations, with allocated admin and coffee breaks

Hours: Full-time, 4 Day working week.

Weekends: 1 in 4 Saturdays (9 am to 1 pm)

Skills/Exp: The ideal vet would have interests in medicine and surgery, which would be supported within the practice. Also a team player with excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient and client care

Salary: Market leading salary based on experience £45,000-£60,000 p/a (DOE)
