We are working with a well-established mixed veterinary practice in Thirsk, North Yorkshire that is looking for a part-time Night Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a permanent basis. The shift pattern consists of 7 nights on, 14 nights off working 20:00-08:00. This position would suit a nurse that has experience working in a small animal practice and is now seeking a new challenge where they can develop their skillset.
The Practice:
This is a well-established and highly regarded mixed animal practice on the edge of the beautiful Yorkshire Moors. They are fortunate to have excellent links to Leeds, York, and beyond via road and rail links. This is a purpose-built practice that is fully equipped with an in-house laboratory, dental suite, newly renovated surgical theatre, and much more! Their reputation is built on traditional values of excellent care and personalized service for their patients and clients, along with years of experience and modern equipment and facilities.
The Role and Candidate:
Our client is looking for a friendly and supportive qualified veterinary nurse to join their friendly team based in their 24-hour Hospital in Thirsk. This position would suit a nurse that has experience working in a small animal practice and is now seeking a new challenge where they can develop their skillset. There will be plenty of support provided as you would work alongside their experienced Night Vet. The ideal candidate will offer the highest standards of clinical and client care.
This is a permanent part-time role, covering an average of 28 hours a week. The shift pattern consists of 7 nights on, 14 nights off working 20:00 - 08:00 - weekends are included in this pattern.
To be eligible for this role you must be registered with the RCVS and previous experience working nights is desirable but not essential.
