Permanent Night Registered Veterinary Nurse - Halifax

We are currently recruiting for a forward-thinking small animal hospital in Halifax, West Yorkshire, that is looking for a newly qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their OOHs service on a permanent basis.

The Practice:

The practice is well equipped to care for all types of animals. They can tailor care to all pet animals to ensure they receive special treatment that reflects how much they mean to their owners. The hospital has full hospitalisation facilities, ultrasound, X-ray, surgery and anaesthesia facilities, endoscope, in house lab, dentistry, and Xray. This busy hospital has a team of 9 Vets, 7 RVNs, 1 SVN, 3 VCAs. 

The Role and Candidate:

Due to demand, the practice is hiring a recently qualified RVN to join their night team. You will be working alongside 1 on-call Vet and another Nurse. Hours are 7 pm-7 am on a 5 on, 5 off basis. Duties include answering the phone to emergencies, dealing with inpatient care, cleaning duties, and emergency surgery. 

The Package:

The practice is offering a competitive salary dependent on your level of experience + 20 days holiday + £500 CPD and 2 days off + staff discount + RCVS fees + pension scheme.
