Our client is a friendly, professional practice based in Worthing, West Sussex that is looking to recruit an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse Evening role on a part-time permanent basis.
The Practice:
Our client has recently expanded their out of hours services in their RCVS accredited tier 3 small animal hospital. They are well equipped with ultrasound, endoscopy, digital x-ray, separate dog and cat wards, isolation ward accessed by an external door and full surgical diagnostic facilities. In addition to the hospital practice, they have over 100 dedicated team members working at 7 locations across Sussex. The night team look after clients from their own 6 branches but also provide out of hours cover to 8 other practices in the local area. Varied caseload, with the opportunity to grow and progress with the forthcoming installation of a CT scanner on site.
The Role:
This position is for a part-time RVN to join their team in the evenings. Also, you will work as part of a fast-paced and friendly team delivering a high standard of nursing care to the patients. Also to assist the veterinary surgeons and liaise with clients with regards to inpatient care. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with risk assurance, including; health & safety, security, clinical governance, and RCVS guidelines.
The working hours for this role are Monday - Friday 18:00-21:00 and 1 in 4 Saturday or Sunday 12 hour shift.

The Candidate:
A successful candidate you will need to be RCVS registered. Experience of working in a hospital environment is desirable. You will have excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills, effective prioritisation, delegation, and decision-making capabilities. You will demonstrate drive, commitment and a desire to learn and progress. Ability to travel to required locations.
