Permanent Veterinary Surgeon - Leeds
We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join our clients' established small animal practice in Leeds, West Yorkshire. This a full-time permanent role working between our clients' branch practice and the main hospital practice, they would consider a part-time role but this would be based at the branch in Leeds.
The Practice:
Our client has 13 practices, which include a Tier 3 Veterinary Hospital, and their ethos is clinical excellence and putting client/patient care at the heart of everything they do. There is lots of potential here for a keen vet to come in and grow the practice, putting their own stamp on it and seeing it flourish under their care.
This practice is equipped to a high standard with 2 air-conditioned consult rooms, separate cat and dog wards and waiting areas, theatre, capnography, imaging suite with digital x-ray and ultrasound, dental including x-ray and lab.
They are a hard-working team that enjoys being sociable together and they have regular events that you can choose to participate in.
The Role and Candidate:
The team is small with a family feel and the client base is loyal, bonded, and growing. They are looking for a vet with 4-5+ years of experience, someone who is comfortable with sole charge. There is support available for more complex procedures if required. The main attribute should be someone who loves building client relationships and really cares about the wellbeing of the animals under their care. Time at the hospital gives you the opportunity to work-up more complex cases if desired.
The role is full-time and the rota is to be confirmed but is likely to include the minimum of Mon 08:00-20:00, Tues 08:00-18:00 and Fri 08:00-20:00, and every other Saturday 10.30-12.30. They would consider a part-time candidate working at the branch in Leeds only
