Permanent Part-Time Veterinary Surgeon, Manchester
We are working with a well-establish veterinary practice in the Manchester area that is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a full or part-time permanent basis. This role would suit a candidate that always treats patients as they would their own animal and has excellent client care.
The Practice:
Our clients' aim within the practice is to treat their patients as though they were their own animals and to treat clients in the way they would wish to be dealt with themselves. This philosophy should be carried through at all levels, in terms of demeanour, appearance, professionalism, and communication (between vets, clients, external providers such as laboratories and staff). You all have a part to play in ensuring the smooth running of the various aspects of the practice. All members of staff are expected to work to the highest of clinical standards. Support and training will be provided to ensure these standards of clinical excellence are attained.
The Role and Candidate:
They are now recruiting for a part-time or full-time Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. The role is to support a growing practice, and ideally, they are looking for individuals who are interested in a part-time or full-time opportunity. The role would involve working between the hours of 9 am-6 pm. You would also contribute to working on the Saturday rota 9 am-4 pm. There is no OOH requirement with this role.
Ideally, they are looking for vets who have experience working as a current small animal veterinary surgeon within a busy 1st opinion vet practice. They are looking for someone who is confident working across consults, surgery, and medical workups. There would also be some sole charge accountabilities.
The Package:
In return they can offer the following benefits (pro-rata for part-time):
- An excellent salary - up to £55,000 for an experienced Vet
- 6.6 weeks holiday entitlement including Bank Holidays
- Opportunity to buy and sell holidays
