Permanent Recent Graduate Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon - Hemel Hempstead

We are currently working with an independent practice that with great effort, dedication  and with a deep sense of vocation from their team has grown above all expectations in the community it serves in Hemel Hempstead.  This charming, caring practice is now looking to recruit a recent graduate  small animal veterinary surgeon  of 1 - 2 years to join them.

The Client:

This practice has a team of personable, proficient and highly committed veterinary professionals including 5 vets and 8 ANAs plus managerial support.  They work to the highest standards and provide quality healthcare to their patients in a warm and friendly environment. Their goal is to safeguard the health and happiness of their clients’ companion animals. They handle a varied caseload of surgeries e.g. Caesareans, castrations, bitch spays, hernias repairments, orthopaedic surgeries [cruciate ligaments, fractures, luxating patellas], lump removals, abdominal surgeries, eye surgeries and many many more procedures including dental work extractions, gingivitis and descaling. Their up to date facilities include digital X-ray, ultrasound, laboratory to aid with diagnosis. 

The Role

This is a permanent full time position working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday with 1 hour paid lunch between 10.00- 17.00 or 10.00 - 19.00. Weekends 1:3 Sat 10.00 - 13.00.  No OOHs. Sole Charge possibly - Saturday morning. 

The Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have between 1-2 years post graduate experience and have excellent communication skills and the ability to deliver a high standard of care and empathy to their clients. 

The Package:

Salary  :- Generous and competitive up to £40,000 for the right candidate - DOE+ CPD and other benefits to be discussed at interview.
