We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a small animal Registered Veterinary Nurse on a full or part-time basis to start at a friendly practice in Northampton.
The Practice
Our client offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They offer a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations and they are always committed to providing exceptional veterinary services. You will be part of a team of 9 vets, 10 RVNs, 3 SVNs, 1 kennel assistant, 8 receptionists and 1 practice manager all dedicated to providing a superb standard of client and animal care. This is a hands-on role so the ideal candidate will need to be adaptable, flexible and willing to work at all levels.
The Role:
The successful candidate will have experience working within a busy environment, have a keen interest in running and developing nurse clinics and puppy parties and someone with high standards and a genuine interest in animal welfare is essential.
Although you will be part of the day team, out of hours shifts can also be included if desired. We also offer a very balanced weekend rota of only 1 in 3 either Saturdays or Sundays so that everyone can take advantage of an excellent work/life balance.

This is a hands-on role so the ideal candidate will need to be adaptable, flexible and willing to work at all levels. Our client is looking for someone with exceptional communication skills and good clinical skills who is a great team player.
