We are currently working with a client based in the borough of Tunbridge Wells in Kent who is looking to recruit a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your career and join a supportive and growing practice.
The Practice:
This friendly surgery is one of a group of branch practices across the area with a hospital practice offering emergency care 24 hours a day, 365 days a year provided by Vets Now. Practice facilities and services include:
- General surgical and orthopaedic procedures
- Dentistry
- Radiography including B.V.A Hip and Elbow Canine Health Schemes
- Ultrasonography including pregnancy diagnosis
- Echocardiography, ECG and cardiology consultations
- Endoscopy
- In house laboratory facilities for blood testing, urine analysis and cytology
- Blood pressure monitoring
- Laser Therapy and Acupuncture
- Ophthalmology
- Feline medicine referral and endoscopy consultancy
The Role:
This is a full-time role working 40 hours a week with shifts of 08:30 -18:30 Monday to Friday. There is one late shift on a Thursday until 19.30 which will be on a rota basis of 1 in 3. There is also a weekend rota of 1 in 3 Saturday mornings from 08.30 - 13.00. There is no out of hours requirements.
This role includes a wide range of duties including consults and operations. There will be some branch work to cover holidays and sickness. In return, our client is offering a competitive salary and benefits package with a focus on CPD.
