We are working with a client based in Maidstone, Kent that is looking for a good all-round Registered Veterinary Nurse. This is a full-time permanent position where you will be joining a friendly amazing team.
The Practice:
Our client has a bright, spacious, air-conditioned surgery that is purpose-built to industry-leading standards and is very well equipped with digital x-ray, ultrasound, a dental unit, and two consult rooms.
You will be joining a small team of 1 vet, 1 RVN, 2 VCAs, 1 student nurse, and 2 client care advisors, all of whom also have the wider support of an Area Relationship Manager and support officers who are there to provide an additional level of support if needed.
The Role and Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be proactive and keen to help build the practice and enjoy the variety that each day brings. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills, be confident in your own knowledge, and have a great sense of humour. Nurse consults and clinics will be required in the future and day-to-day theatre and in-patient care are all important parts of the role.
The whole team is dedicated to providing a superb standard of client and animal care. This role plays a key part within a small, friendly team so the ideal candidate will need to be adaptable, flexible, and a good team player.
The hours required are full time on a shift basis with early shifts starting at 8:30 and with the late shift finishing 19:00. You will be part of a weekend rota with time off for weekends worked. To start with they would expect the weekend rota to be 1 in 2, moving to 1 in 3 later on in the year.
