We are working with a thriving small animal practice in South Liverpool, that is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full-time permanent basis.
The Practice:
This practice is committed to bringing their clients affordable, high-quality care via a modern, well-equipped practice, including a lab, pharmacy, digital x-ray, and ultrasound. Plus, on-site car parking too!
You will be joining a lovely friendly team that consists of an experienced Vet, 2 RVN (including a nursing manager) 2 SVNs, and 2 VCAs. The practice is situated close to a fabulous selection of local amenities and bus routes, just 30 minutes from Liverpool city centre.
The Role:
This is a permanent position for a Registered Veterinary Nurse, where you will be working full time, 40 hours per week with 1 in 3 weekends on a rota basis.
Some of your key responsibilities will include:
- Working closely with the clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver the best levels of patient and customer care for our clients
- Assisting the Veterinary Surgeon during surgical procedures
- Nursing of hospitalised patients
- Undertaking nurse clinics
The Candidate:
Excellent patient care and customer service are extremely important to our clients, so they are looking for motivated individuals who share their high standards and work ethos with effective communication and people skills to give the best service to clients.
They are unable to take on any more student veterinary nurses at this time but are open to accepting newly qualified candidates for this RVN role.
