We are currently working with a well-established independent practice in the Sunbury-on-Thames area of Surrey. Our client is looking to recruit a permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse or possibly two permanent RVN's willing to undertake a job share to work across two of their branches.
The Practice:
This practice has often been described as ‘very welcoming and friendly’ and they are now in the position to be able to offer a keen, hard-working veterinary nurse with a good work ethic the opportunity to join their personable and dedicated team working between 2 branches. It is a busy practice that has experienced rapid growth over the past two years and has branches covering the SW London area. They currently employ a team of between 13 to 14 veterinary surgeons and 16- 17 nursing staff plus support across the region. The Role:
This is a full-time permanent position working Monday - Friday on shifts between 8.00 - 1700 or 8.30 - 17.30, Saturdays 1:12 8.00-17.00 with a day off during the week. With No OOHs and No sole charge supporting a great work/life balance. The position will include a good range of nursing procedures and activities including consults, some inpatient work, hospitalisation, monitoring anaesthetics, and assisting the veterinary surgeon.
The Candidate:
This is a lovely opportunity for a personable registered veterinary nurse with good communication skills, who is keen to develop further and who would benefit from working in a busy practice with a varied caseload. The successful candidate must also hold a clean driving license and preferably have their own vehicle. The practice is particularly keen to support ongoing learning in line with business requirements.
