We are currently working with a client with a practice based in the pretty market town of Wetherby, West Yorkshire who is looking to recruit a fully qualified Registered Veterinary Nurse on a full-time permanent basis, to join their caring and specialised team
The Practice:
This is a practice with a difference because they offer tailor-made treatments for their patients by selecting from conventional medicine and surgery and alternative methods of care such as homeopathy, acupuncture, nutraceuticals and physical therapies. Their emphasis is always to provide the safest and most effective treatment for their client’s pets. This practice opened 12 years ago and has built up a solid and growing client base. Their practice is designed to provide a relaxed atmosphere for their clients and their pets. Their consulting rooms are large with all consultations being conducted seated and time given to the animal before they handle them to give them chance to feel more at ease. In their surgical, ward and kennel areas they have taken care to design the facilities so that animals cannot see procedures being carried out on others and they make sure that cats and dogs are in separate wards to reduce stress.
They have two operating theatres, radiography, ultrasound, ECG and endoscopy. They use IDEXX veterinary laboratories for all their diagnostic testing.
Role:
This is a full-time permanent position for a veterinary nurse. The exact working pattern is to be confirmed. However, there will be no weekend requirements and only the very occasional duty until 10.00 pm for emergency inpatient cover otherwise no out of hours.
Candidate:
The successful applicant will be someone who has good veterinary nursing skills, a friendly down to earth attitude and genuine interest in animal health.

To qualify for this position you must be fully registered with the RCVS and you must be eligible to work in the UK.
