We are working with a small animal practice based in Wokingham, Berkshire, that is looking to recruit a Registered Veterinary Nurse on a full-time permanent basis.

The Practice:

This practice offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose-built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment, including an in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital X-ray, specialist dental equipment, and much more. The team currently consists of 4 Vets, 2 Nurses, and 2 Student Nurses.

The Role and Candidate:

The role is full time averaging 40 hours a week with just 1 in 4 weekends (Saturday 8:30-5:00 Sunday 10:00-4:00 and bank holidays on a rota basis) and no OOH. Our client is looking for a full time Registered Veterinary Nurse and will consider a part-time RVN or a final year SVN. You will have great communication skills, be an excellent team player, and be looking to work with a positive and passionate team. You will be confident with all general nursing duties, including the running of nurse clinics and schedule 3 is highly encouraged. This role is ideal for someone keen to develop their skills and potentially study for certificates, as we offer a £500 a year CPD allowance.
