We are working with a client with a practice based in Sutton, Surrey that is looking to recruit a full-time Registered Veterinary Nurse on a full-time permanent basis. The role will involve all aspects of nursing as well as assisting with training student nurses through clinical coaching.

The Practice:

The main hospital practice has recently been refurbished and is rightfully proud of its ISFM Gold Cat-Friendly status, as the practice possesses separate dog and cat waiting areas, consult rooms and kennels. This practice also has all of the usual toys, including onsite ultrasound, endoscopy, laboratory equipment, and dental radiography. The team consists of three experienced Vets (including an Advanced Practitioner in Medicine and a Surgery Certificate Holder), six Nurses, and three support staff.

The Role and Candidate:

Our client is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join the friendly team at a fantastic hospital based in Sutton. This hospital is the main practice in the Sutton region, boasting an amazing patient and client base, a friendly and experienced team, and a stunning location. The clinic is lovely, spacious, and well-equipped. There are separate cat and dog wards and a high caseload, so the successful nurse will be able to get hands-on.

The role will involve all aspects of nursing as well as assisting with training student nurses through clinical coaching. This position provides you with the opportunity to develop nursing clinics and use your initiative to promote new ideas; more responsibilities will form part of this role with full support being provided by the nursing team.

This is a full-time permanent position, covering 40 hours a week over 5 days. You will also be part of a weekend rota, covering 1:4 full weekends.

The Remuneration Package:

Our client is offering a very competitive package of up to £23,349 per annum (depending on experience) with a Benefits Package that includes:

  • Generous CPD allowance and in-house CPD available
  • Ongoing training is provided as relevant to your role
  • RCVS and VDS fees paid
  • 5 weeks paid annual leave
  • Exclusive company discounts and rewards
  • A friendly, supportive environment within a rewarding role
