We are working with a two-site mixed animal veterinary practice based near Driffield in North Yorkshire that is looking for an experienced Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full-time permanent basis. Exciting times are ahead for these practices as the build is imminent of a brand new Small Animal Hospital
The Practice:
Our client is a friendly independent practice dedicated to providing an excellent standard of care to all of their clients. The practice has evolved from the first two Veterinary Practices established in Driffield, both with roots going back to the 1940s. Since then they have grown into a nine vet, two centre practice, offering a comprehensive 24-hour call-out service to pets, farm animals, and horses. Inpatient facilities are available at the Driffield Practice as required. Our client has two practices based approximately 13 miles apart.
Their vets are supported by a dedicated and caring team of veterinary nurses, administration, and reception staff.
The Role:
Based across two sites our client has a friendly team of 11 Vets, 7 RVNs, 1 SVN, and a VCA, they are offering a varied position which will include inpatient care, surgical nursing, and nurse consultations.
This is a full-time permanent role where you will be working 35 hours a week with a 1:7 OOH rota (covered from home, with no phone duties).
Their ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organisation skills, with the desire to assist the practice in providing first-class animal and client care.
