Facilities: The surgeries are air-conditioned and they have separate dog and cat areas so that the patient environment remains calm. The surgeries have been designed to provide the highest quality of care using the latest technology for diagnosis and treatment. Operating is performed daily during the week in the very well-equipped RCVS Small Animal Hospital as are the nurse consultations. DR Digital x-ray, Idexx diagnostic machines, dental suite, and modern anaesthetic monitoring equipment combined with the client-based-ethos makes the Bicester surgery a very satisfying and rewarding place in which to work.
Team: They have 10 FTE vets working between the two surgeries. They cover a wide range of experience from those who have been qualified for 30 years to new graduates. Similarly, the 14 FTE nurses have a range of experience and various qualifications and interests. To support the awesome nursing team, they have three Animal Nursing Assistants.
Role:The practice is looking for a Weekend Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their practice. Your duties will mainly be to care for the in-patients that they have in the hospital. You will take over from the night nurse in the morning and hand back to the same night nurse in the evening. They have two vets working over the weekend who will care for in-patients alongside you, carry out consults and operate on urgent cases also. There will always be another nurse on duty with you along with two experienced Receptionists.

Hours: Working two weekends in three. No overnight work is required as they have a team of night nurses.
Salary: The salary for this role is up to £30,000 pro-rata depending on experience.
