Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Birstall
We are working with a client who is looking for a confident Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team in Birstall, Leicestershire, on a full-time, permanent basis.
The Practice:
This is a 24-hour practice that is open 365 days a year. The practice is equipped with the latest technology including ECG, in-house laboratory, operating theatre, digital X-ray, dentistry equipment, and ultrasound. The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated team of day and night staff. The practice sees a busy and varied caseload and is a training practice for nurses and vets training on a Graduate Support Programme.
The practice is located just off the A6 and is a short distance from the A46, A607 with on-site parking for staff and customers and is opposite a parade of shops with places to eat, supermarkets, cafes, banks and more all within walking distance.
The Role and Candidate:
Our client is currently seeking a confident Veterinary Nurse to join their friendly and experienced team. They would also consider a year 3 SVN that is soon due to qualify. You will be involved in all aspects of nursing. Previous experience working in a small animal practice is required. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of nursing duties as well as sharing best practices with your team. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week on either an early or a late shift between the hours of 7.45 am - 8.15 pm with the standard 1 in 4-weekend shifts.
