Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Cambridge

Location: Cambridge (within 15 min train journey of Cambridge)

Practice: Part of a group

Facilities: They are part of a progressive, forward-thinking, premium veterinary group with small and medium-sized first opinion practices, four large 24-hour hospitals, and a referral centre.

Team: They have over 330 staff members across 32 sites and are very proud of their achievements and reputation in the veterinary profession.

Role: Our client is seeking a proactive Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) to join their talented clinical team at their hospital practice, on a full-time basis.

Duties:

  • You would be nursing to a very high standard, and duties include care of inpatients, nurse consultations, and all aspects of surgical nursing.
  • This is a role where your nursing skills are utilised to their full potential and is a great opportunity for professional development in an area of your interest with further study actively encouraged and supported.
  • They are looking for a compassionate and dedicated RVN with any level of experience as they can provide strong support for those that may be recently qualified or new to a hospital environment.
  • They are dedicated to training the next generation of nurses, so a Clinical Coach qualification or willingness to work towards it would be highly advantageous.

Hours: Full-time (42hr/week average) 8hr shifts Monday – Friday

Weekends/OOHS: 1:6 weekends (with time off in lieu given for weekends worked) and minimal on-call (1:17)

Salary: Between £24,000 to £29,000 p/a - reflective of skills and experience
