Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Cheshire

We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a friendly practice in Cheshire.

Role: Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse

Type: Small Animal

Location: Frodsham, Cheshire

Practice: Small Animal

Team: They have 7 vets (6 full-time and 1 part-time), currently 5 RVNs (3 full-time and 2 part-time), and 2 ANAs (Full time).

Facilities: Well-equipped practice with digital X-ray, Ultrasound, and in-house laboratory with Idexx Lasercyte, Catalyst, and Snapshot. They are an extremely busy practice with a large client base, with nearly 2,000 pets in the Pet Health club

Hours: This is a part-time role working a 20 hour week over 2 days, between 8 am and 8 pm, however working hours can be flexible.

The role requires working 1 in 7 Saturdays from 9 am – 5 pm which will be paid as overtime. Practice is closed on Sundays and Bank holidays plus there will be no out of hours required for this role.

Applicant Requirements: The ideal candidate would be an experienced RVN, preferably from a small animal background, comfortable with all aspects of veterinary nursing, and confident in dealing with clients on a regular basis. They are looking for someone with a passion for patient and client care, who can multitask with ease and is flexible in day-to-day responsibilities. 

Salary: They would be looking to pay a minimum salary of £25,000 Pro-rata for an RVN with one or more years’ experience but would accept applications from new graduates and less experienced Vet nurses.
