Job: Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse

Practice: Independent - The practice is an accredited “Small Animal General Practice” under the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards Scheme.

Facilities: Here at the surgery they provide a range of up-to-date facilities needed to care for the well-being of pets.

• On-site they have the room and the ability to house dogs, cats, and small pets in separate wards and they have a purpose-built isolation unit.
• They have a digital x-ray suite, a spacious orthopaedic operating theatre as well as on-site haematology, and a biochemistry laboratory.
• They also provide modern equipment such as a thermocautery unit, an endoscope, and an ultrasound machine.

Team: 1 Vet, 1 Nurse, and 1 Receptionist

Hours: Full-time Monday - Friday early or late shift 8.5 hours per day

WE: 1:3 Saturday mornings 8.00 - 12 noon

Sole Charge: On Occasion

OOHs: No

Branch Work: No

Computer System: Ezyvet

Duties: Reception, kennel work, inpatient care, monitoring anaesthetics, assisting with operations, general nursing care

Salary: Up to £28,000 p/a DOE
