Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Friern Barnet

We are working with a practice based in Friern Barnet, North London, that is looking for a small animal Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full-time permanent basis.

The Practice:

This practice offers the latest state-of-the-art equipment, to ensure prompt diagnoses and the most effective treatments. Their purpose-built, modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards and has state-of-the-art equipment including in-house operating theatre and laboratory, digital x-ray, specialist dental equipment, and much more. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations and protocols. They are in a great location, close to M25 and M1. They see a variety of cases with a loyal client base, evenly split between dogs and cats with an average age ranging 1-5 years old.

There is a friendly and supportive team of 7, made up of 1 Full-Time Vet, 1 Part-Time Vet, 3 Veterinary Care Assistants, 1 practice Manager, 1 Full-Time Receptionist, and a Part-Time Receptionist.

The Role:

This is a full-time permanent position for a Veterinary Nurse working 40 hours per week including a shared weekend rota. A job-share would also be considered. You should be a proactive nurse with solid all round skills. Key to your success will be your ability to embrace all aspects of the veterinary nurse role, delivering excellent patient and client care, whilst working well within the team.
