Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Leeds

We are currently working with a lovely, modern, well equipped veterinary practice based in Leeds, West Yorkshire. They are looking to recruit a further 2 permanent Registered Veterinary Nurses to join their existing dedicated team working through the day.

The Practice:

This is a purpose-built, modern practice that has been designed to the latest industry-leading standards. They currently have an expanding team of committed and caring staff including 10 vets, 16 nurses, and a support team. Their facilities and services include- digital x-ray, endoscopy, ECG, blood pressure monitor, biochemistry, haematology, keyhole surgery, dental X-ray, health checks to emergency operations. They are open 24/7 and have a team for day and night work. Their highly trained veterinary surgeons and nurses are kept constantly updated on the latest innovations, and they are always committed to providing exceptional care and understanding for the clients and their pets. 

The Role and Candidate:

This is a permanent full-time day veterinary nursing post and our client is looking for 2 RVNs to join their existing team. The hours are Monday to Friday 8.00 -20.00 on a rota basis including earlies and lates - 10-hour shifts. 1:4 weekends including Saturday and Sunday which means that the successful candidate would be working a 40 hour week.

This post would suit a keen fully qualified veterinary nurse who enjoys working in a busy practice, being an active team player, and who displays empathy and care towards their patients. 

The Package:

In return, our client is offering a competitive salary between £20,000 - £26,000 p/a dependent on skills and experience & reflective of the practices’ commitment to the standard of delivering care to their clients and the development of their staff to meet their overall goals and objectives.
