We are working with a small animal referral Veterinary Hospital in the Middlesbrough area that is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse on a full-time permanent basis. There are looking for an RVN that will provide an excellent standard of nursing and clinical care for patients and to comply with the RCVS Code of Conduct.

The Practice:

Our client is an award-winning hospital that boasts state-of-the-art facilities across multiple disciplines.  They have no fewer than six consultation rooms and four operating theatres. They also have two dog wards, a cat ward, isolation ward, and prep room, plus an intensive care unit (ICU), cardiology suite, imaging suite, MRI scanner, ultrasound, CT, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, arthroscopy, laparoscopy, thoracoscopy, and hydrotherapy facilities. Their unrivaled range of services, specialist vets, and first-rate equipment is what makes them the north east’s premier veterinary centre.

The Role and Candidate:

This is a permanent full-time role where you will be working 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days depending on the rota. You will be joining their regular weekend rota which is currently 1 in 6 but could change in the future, you will receive time off midweek when working a weekend day. The role will cover all areas of the nursing role in a referral practice setting.

You will be a qualified Veterinary Nurse that is registered with the RCVS with excellent knowledge and skills in a nursing role. You will have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills with great communications skills.
