An esteemed veterinary practice based in Newcastle Upon Tyne is seeking a dedicated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their professional team. This role presents an opportunity to work within a well-established independent practice that delivers high-quality, modern medicine and surgery in the heart of North East England.

About the Practice:

The practice is committed to providing a supportive and encouraging work environment. With seven branches and a hospital site, they are equipped with a wide range of diagnostic facilities, including an in-house laboratory. They offer 24-hour hospital care, 365 days a year. As a recognised training practice, they provide opportunities for continuous professional development, fostering a learning culture for both experienced and trainee veterinary nurses.

Role Details:

The role is a full-time permanent position, requiring a 35-hour commitment from Monday to Friday. The successful candidate may be required to work at any of the seven branch surgeries as well as the hospital site. Night shifts, weekends, and bank holidays are on a shared rota.

Ideal Candidate:

The practice is seeking an enthusiastic and empathetic individual who can build an excellent rapport with clients. The ideal candidate should be confident, capable of working independently, and able to contribute positively to the day-to-day running of all clinical areas. A full driving license is required.

Remuneration Package:

The practice offers a competitive salary that is adjusted based on the level of experience. Benefits include four weeks of annual leave plus bank holidays, which increases with every five years of continuous service. An additional day of holiday for your birthday is provided following one year of continuous service. The practice actively encourages and supports CPD, and offers a staff discount scheme following the successful completion of a probationary period.
