Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Northwich

We are currently working with an RCVS accredited small animal practice in Northwich, Cheshire, that due to the practice expanding are looking for a full-time Nurse to join them on a permanent basis.

The Practice:

They provide an excellent standard of care to pets and their owners in a friendly and welcoming manner. They are a small team of 8 Vets, 8 RVN's, 3 Receptionists, and a Practice Manager who offer complete continuity of care in a single site veterinary centre.

This Independent RCVS accredited small animal hospital consists of two veterinary consulting rooms, an imaging suite, 2 sterile theatres, a dental theatre, a prep area, a laboratory, and separate cat and dog wards. Their facilities include digital x-ray, ultrasound, endoscopy, laparoscopy, and dental x-ray machines.

They strive to provide the highest standards of first opinion care for their patients and clients.

The Role and Candidate:

This is a full-time position and hours Monday - Friday are 8.00-14.00, 10.00-16.00 or 13.45-19.45. 

The shift pattern would include a week of night shifts which is Mon-Thurs 19.30-08.30 and weekend shifts are either nights (Fri-Sun same hours) or Saturday and Sunday days (08.00-20.00). The Nurse would be responsible for in-patient care overnight and assisting the vet with any calls etc.
