Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Oxon

Practice Type: Well-established small animal practice in South Oxfordshire, surrounded by lovely countryside yet only 10 minutes from the city of Oxford and an easy commute to London. Their group is made up of four surgeries with the main surgery in Abingdon where their dedicated night service is located.
Team Info: Their day team consists of 7 vets, a mix of qualified and student nurses along with ANA's, reception, and admin team. They have a separate night team.
Facilities: State-of-the-art equipment with in-house Idexx lab, x-ray, ultrasound, and endoscope all come as standard.
Role: An exciting opportunity has come up for a Registered Veterinary Nurse! They would consider a 1st year+ Student Veterinary Nurse. Your general nursing duties will involve a mix of inpatient care, theatre, laboratory, diagnostic and nurse clinics.
Hours:
- A full-time nurse will work 40 hours a week over 5 days, they are able to be flexible for someone looking for a part-time position.
- Their normal working weekday involves an 8-hour shift between 07:30-19:30.
- Weekends and bank holidays are on a rota basis with TOIL given for weekend work helping to maintain a great work-life balance.
- They have a dedicated night team who cover the out-of-hours workload of local practices on evenings and weekends. This feeds into the day team giving an exciting variety of cases!
Weekends: Yes
OOHs: No
Salary: Happy to discuss salary requirements with candidates
CPD: 3 days and £550 CPD allowance per annum
Fees paid: RCVS and VDS cover
Holiday: 4 weeks paid holiday, not including bank holidays (Service based holiday entitlement increases)
