Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - Portsmouth, Hampshire
We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen at our client’s small animal practice in Portsmouth for a full-time permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a permanent basis.
The Practice:
They are situated on the beautiful South Coast, with excellent train and motorway links, the practice offers a full range of treatments from health checks to emergency operations. You will also be part of a small group consisting of 5 other practices within the partners' group and a team totaling 9 vets, 7 nurses, 3 VCAs, 2 SVNS.
They are dedicated to providing their clients access to state of the art veterinary equipment and ensuring that they deliver the highest quality of service to their patients including digital X-Ray, ECG, Endoscopy, Ultrasound, in house laboratory, 24/7 emergency cover, and hospitalisation outsourced, separate dog and cat wards, and ample car parking.
The Role:
- The role is a full-time permanent post.
- Hours: Mon - Fri 8-7.30 staggered shift rotation 4 days per week.
- WE: 1:4.
- OOHs/On Call: No
- Sole Charge: No.
- Branch Work: Possibly required to cover the Havant practice
The Candidate:
This position would suit a Registered Veterinary Nurse with at least one year’s post qualified experience and has also acted as a Clinical Coach. . A confident, personable individual with the ability to communicate well at all levels.

Salary: Competitive between £22,000- £27,000 dependent on experience
