A rare opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and enthusiastic RVN to join our clients' fantastic team in their small animal practice in the Welwyn Garden City area of Hertfordshire. They are looking for an RVN to join them on a full-time permanent basis.
The Practice:
Our client is a well-equipped practice with digital x-ray, ultrasound, dental x-ray, separate dog and cat wards, and a dedicated nurse consulting room. Their friendly team of part and full-time staff is comprised of 3 vets, 3 RVNs, and 1 SVN as well as 3 reception/administrative staff. We are based near Welwyn Garden City which has swift mainline train links to London and is conveniently placed for both the A1(M) and the M25.
The Role and Candidate:
Our client is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join them on a full-time permanent basis. You will be joining a close team with a low staff turnover that prides itself on providing excellent nursing care to patients and clients. The role will include theatre duties, assisting with procedures, nurse consults, dispensary, and some administration and reception duties.
Their rota provides a good work/life balance with a 40 hour week, 1 in 5 Saturday mornings with time off in lieu and no on-call, and they even provide Birthday leave! CPD is funded and encouraged and RCVS and VDS fees are paid for. This is a full-time position and applications from new graduates are welcomed as they are a training practice and are used to providing a supportive work environment to allow newly qualified nurses to grow in confidence and ability.
