Permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse - West Yorkshire
Our client is looking for a small animal Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team on a permanent basis. You will be joining a large team of nurses in a fantastic practice in West Yorkshire.
The Practice:
The practice is a large group with fantastic facilities and emphasis on patient care, customer care, teamwork, and high standards. As a company, they promise to deliver a caring and compassionate service with 24 hours a day 365 days a year emergency treatment with fully qualified vets on site, ample parking for all types of vehicles, clean, spacious, and air-conditioned waiting rooms with the friendly reception staff, hospital standard operating theatres, digital X-ray, CT/MRI Scanners, in house laboratories and intensive care units. They also have support from a nearby referral site within the group.
The role is to join a team of 12 RVN's (2 dedicated night nurses), 8 SVN's and 6 ACA/AH's and Separate reception and admin staff.
The Role and Candidate:
The position is a full-time permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse to work 40 hours per week on a 5-week rolling rota. The rota includes 4 weeks of Monday-Friday 08:00-17:00. 1 week of 11:00-20:00 with a weekend of 08:00-20:00, following week Monday-Wednesday off, Thursday and Friday 08:00-17:00.
The ideal candidate will be a good communicator, empathetic and client, and animal-led.
The Package:
In return, the practice is offering a competitive salary currently dependent on experience (between £19,000 - £25,000) + Holiday entitlement - 5weeks AL each year PLUS 8 BH's and Birthday day off. CPD budget £500/year with up to 3 paid days off to attend. A wealth of in-house CPD available via team groups.
