Permanent Senior Veterinary Surgeon - Northumberland
We are working with a practice based in Cramlington, just 5 miles from the beautiful Northumberland coast, that is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent full-time basis. This role is for an experienced Vet to join our client in a Senior Vet position.
The Practice:
This modern surgery has been designed to industry-leading standards with state of the art equipment including digital and dental x-rays, ultrasonography, capnography, and in-house laboratory facilities. You will be joining a forward-thinking practice who pride themselves on ensuring the quality of care they give to all their patients and clients. They are a social, vibrant & close-knit team with a focus on a good work-life balance. Their experienced partner team is made up of 3 full-time Vets, 8 Veterinary Nurses, and 5 receptionists.
The Role and Candidate:
This is a permanent full-time position for a Veterinary Surgeon, working 40 hours per week. The practice is open 7 days a week and there are no OOHs requirements - the weekend rota will be discussed at the interview.
As a senior Vet in the practice, you will support the recent graduates in the practice, so you must be fully competent in all aspects of routine/non-routine surgery, basic medicine, and diagnostics. You will also assist with clinical decisions and will perform most of the non-routine surgery in the practice.
