We are working with a lovely small animal practice in York, that is looking for a permanent full or part-time Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join their small and friendly team.

The Practice:

This is a bright, air-conditioned surgery that is purpose-built to industry-leading standards and has state of the art equipment including digital X-ray, ultrasound with Doppler, oximetry, in-house laboratory, piped gas, and separate cat, dog, and isolation wards. They are located close to the beautiful city of York which is easily accessible from A64, Leeds, Harrogate, Thirsk, and the surrounding areas. The successful candidate would be working with a team of 3.5 vets, 3 RVNs, 1 SVN plus dedicated and caring support staff. The practice is really interested in your ideas and ensures plenty of client contact during nurse clinics. They are a highly recommended practice with lots of dog, cat, and rabbit clients, plus other small furries and the occasional chicken! As a progressive practice, they strive to provide opportunities to pursue further nursing interests.

The Role:

This would be either a full or part-time veterinary surgeon post based on either 40 or 20 flexible working hours based on 9.00 - 18.00 start and finish times Monday to Friday. Weekends will be 1:3 Sat 9.00 -18.00 and Sun 10.00- 16.00 although this can be negotiated.
