Se4rch Veterinary Specialists are working with a large multidisciplinary team of veterinary Specialists within the New Forest National Park, Hampshire area who are recruiting for a Specialist Veterinary Surgeon to join their team.

Permanent Specialist Veterinary Surgeon (Residency-trained/Board-certified ECVS/ACVS)

Type: Small Animal

Location: New Forest National Park area of Hampshire

Practice: The hospital facility is about to enjoy a £7-million expansion (ready summer 2022). Imaging facilities include a 64 slice Siemens CT scanner with cardiac software, 1.5T Hallmarq PetVet MRI (to be replaced with a new Siemens Altea 1.5T scanner), Samsung RS80, GE Vivid E95, and iQ ultrasound machines, Canon & Fuji Nano direct digital radiography, also Philips Pulsera & Hologic Insight C-arm fluoroscopy.

Team: 

  • They are looking for an additional Specialist Surgeon to join their team of five surgeons.
  • You will be joining well-established teams of specialists and residents in Soft Tissue Surgery, Orthopaedic Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Anaesthesia, Diagnostic Imaging, Neurology, Cardiology, and Dermatology. Candidates should be either an ECVS or ACVS Diplomate or be eligible to sit these examinations. 

Hours: Full-time role with a four-day working week

Package: In addition to a four-day working week and six weeks of annual leave (plus bank holidays and birthdays), they offer an excellent salary package. Although they offer competitive salary packages, their priority is to provide a friendly and supportive environment in which staff can flourish and enjoy their work.
