Permanent Two Veterinary Surgeon - Ripon, North Yorkshire

We are working with a client based in the Ripon area of North Yorkshire who has two positions available in their small animal department:

  • The first is based at their RCVS Hospital, ISFM Cat-Friendly clinic
  • The second is supporting their two branches service provision within 18 miles from the main hospital
  • Applications are welcome from all levels of experience, including newly graduated colleagues

The Practice:

This is an increasingly unique practice that is fully committed to independent ownership providing them with the flexibility to deliver the high standard of patient and client care that they want to, each and every day.

They have an amazing team of 16 FTE vets, supported by excellent, experienced, and qualified nurses. They have a wealth of existing experience in the team with Advanced Practitioners in medicine, surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, and general practice. The practice is well-equipped with digital x-ray, video endoscopy, laparoscopic kit (including diathermy), fully integrated internal lab facilities, visiting MRI and CT scanners, and separate dog, cat

and isolation facilities.

The Role and Candidate:

Both roles can be either part-time or full-time hours (a 4-day working week with weekend clinics and OOH duties equally shared) would be considered. They have dedicated night vets who cover the weekday night shifts.

The Package: FTE

  • Salary commensurate with experience
