We are currently recruiting on behalf of an independent, family-run small animal practice in Liverpool who is currently looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. This position is full-time and would be open to applications from all levels of experience from new graduate to experienced.
The Practice:
This is a small, independent, family run practice with a team of 5 vets, 6 nurses & student nurses spread across 2 branches. Their team is friendly, dynamic, young & forward thinking.
They have been established for 40 years and remain one of the last independent veterinary practices left in Liverpool. They have a friendly team of Vets and Nurses dedicated to caring for family pets & their owners.
Their premises are accredited by the RCVS, for small animal general practice and they perform all aspects of general veterinary medicine and surgery.

The Role:
This is a full-time, permanent Registered Veterinary Nurse position, working 37.5 hours per week. Shifts are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm or 10:30 am to 6:30 pm. There is a weekend rota of 1:3 which is working Saturday mornings only from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. On occasion, there may be some inpatient checks but out of hours work is usually covered by an external provider.
In return, the practice can offer a salary starting from £20,000, funded CPD of £500 per year, RCVS fees paid, 20 days holiday plus all bank holidays, increasing by one day each year of service, and an extra day’s holiday for your birthday.

The practice is willing to consider nurses of all experience levels. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and motivated, as well as being a friendly team player. They have the capacity to support newly graduated candidates.
