We are currently working on behalf of an independent practice in Darlington, that is looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team on a permanent full-time basis. 

The Practice:

This practice has extremely high standards which can be seen throughout their three practices. Their biggest practice is an accredited hospital that can accommodate all types of major surgery. They look after all types of animals from dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs to chinchillas, rats, mice, reptiles, and other exotic animals.

Facilities include theatre, dental suite, radiology, lab, endoscopy, laparoscopy, ultrasonography, and diagnostic equipment. 

The practice has an experienced team of 6 Vets and a support team of RVN student RVNs and reception team. 

The Role and Candidate:

This is a full-time position working 4 days per week, with weekends that are 1:6 with on-call and 1 night per week on duty. 

The practice is a forward-thinking practice that is willing to invest in their staff. They have recently started offering laparoscopic surgery, and 3 of their Vets are currently working towards certificates: surgery, dermatology, and exotics. They are looking for a friendly Vet that will fit in with the rest of their team.
