We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established small animal practice based in Rustington Village, which is on the south coast of West Sussex. Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Veterinary Surgeon on a permanent full-time basis that is pro-active and ambitious. Part-time and flexible hours would be considered.

The Practice: 

This a well-established, independent, first opinion small animal practice that has a large and committed client base. The practice prides itself on providing owners and their pets personable and compassionate medical and surgical support. Their dedicated service is provided in their modern, purpose-built premises which come with a dedicated surgical theatre. They are a small animal RCVS accredited practice, with all the usual toys! Including In-house Laboratory, Automatic X-rays and developing facilities, In-house Dental Suite, Access to Ultrasound facilities, In-house & local OOH, Modern PMS system – RoboVet. The excellent support team consists of 2 full-time and 2 part-time Qualified Veterinary Nurses, 2 receptionists, and a practice manager, working alongside 2 vets. 

The Role:

This is a full-time role working 35 hours a week on average, 4-day week 08:30-19:00 / 08:30-16:00 with 2 early finishes a week. There is a weekend out of hours rota of 1:12 (includes branch work), with 1:3 Saturday mornings, and a no weekday out of hours. The Bank Holidays are on a shared rota. Part-time and Flexible hours would be considered.

Your daily duties will include, consults of 15 minutes, general vet duties, and looking after small animal patients and their owners.
