We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established practice that is looking to recruit a Veterinary Surgeon to join their brand new purpose-built facility in Ashby-De-La-Zouch, Leicestershire on a full-time basis. Our client is looking for a Vet with at least 18 months post-graduate in practice experience.

The Practice:

This practice has recently moved to brand new, purpose-built premises, which offers 5 consult rooms, large car park and all brand new modern facilities including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, Idexx in-house analyzers, SediVue urine analyzer, stainless steel kennels, ECG and much more. This independently-owned practice has been providing the highest level of veterinary care to the surrounding areas for a number of years and has a highly loyal client base. The practice also boasts a team of 8 highly experienced vets (4 CERT Holders) and a supportive team of RVNS to offer specialist care to all their clients.

The Role and Candidate:

This exciting full-time permanent role would suit candidates with at least 18 months post-graduate in practice experience. The working hours will be on a rota basis with the practice opening hours being 08:00-20:00 Monday-Friday, you will be working a 9-10 hours each shift (including a rest break) during these times. There are weekends and out of hours required for this role, with the OOHs rota being 1:4 during which you will be supported by 24hour nurse back up. The week after a weekend worked you will have the Thursday, Friday off as TOIL.
