We are working with a busy tier 2 small animal clinic in Birmingham that is looking for a full-time Veterinary Surgeon to join them on a permanent basis,
The Practice.
The practice now has five full-time qualified vets, a part-time locum vet, as well as six fully qualified veterinary nurses (one of whom is a pet health counselor). They also employ two nursing assistants as well as a team of dedicated reception staff and an extensive group of support staff. They have invested heavily in the best diagnostic and surgical equipment and provide an outstanding service for all of their patients.
They are focused on their team's happiness as this helps them offer a great service to clients and patients. Their approach is to maintain engaged and healthy employees. Their practice is spacious, well equipped, and air-conditioned.
The Role:
Due to their ever-increasing client base, they plan to expand their team to 6 vets. They offer a great work-life balance with a half-day and several afternoons free each week with no on-call and 5 weeks of holiday.
This is a permanent full-time role where you will be joining a 6-vet rota system which is currently:
- 9 am to 7 pm 2 days/week
- 9 am to 6 pm 1 day/week
- 9 am to 4 pm 1 day/week
- 9 am to 1 pm 1 day/week
- 9 am to 4:30 pm 2 Sats in 5
- No Sundays at present
The Package:
In return for your hard work and dedication, our client offers a generous salary package, dependent on experience and well funded CPD, 25 days paid annual holiday (plus 8 statutory bank holidays).
