We have a great opportunity for a small animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly practice based near Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. Your working week will be split between two practices approximately 12 miles apart.

Our client is looking for an experienced Vet that is looking for a practice to develop their existing sole charge skills whilst also working in a bigger team.

The Practice

With over 30 years’ experience and knowledge, our clients offer a friendly and helpful team, who are passionate about pets and their welfare. They pride themselves in offering an excellent service at a competitive price. They treat all small domestic animals and offer nurse clinics for routine care such as nail clips and post-operative checks. They also have regular clinics offering free advice on general pet care and neutering.

Their friendly practice has all the latest modern facilities needed to care for small animals including ultra-sonography, an exercise yard, two consulting rooms, an operating theatre, an in-house lab, and x-ray equipment.

The Role and Candidate:

Our client is looking for an experienced vet to join their friendly practices your role would see your week split two practices approximately 12 miles apart. This provides the best of both worlds; growing and developing service as the sole vet in one and working as part of a larger team and the support which goes with it. There is great scope to develop your own interests and expertise in this exciting role.

This role is for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to work on a full-time basis. The exact working pattern is to be confirmed but will involve a weekend rota with time off in lieu and no out of hours work.
